Vote: Is Schaub the right man for the Texans?

Matt Schaub will get his chance in Houston.
All it took was a quick trade for one NFL franchise to assert its full confidence in its quarterback and for another franchise to essentially give up on theirs. The life of an NFL quarterback is never easy; just ask the three players affected by this weeks Houston-Atlanta trade, which sent Matt Schaub to the Texans. Schaub, who had backed up Michael Vick in Atlanta, was traded to Houston for their 2007 and 2008 second round picks. The teams also agreed to swap their first round picks in this year's draft, with the Texans dropping down to the 10th pick and the Falcons moving up to the eighth overall pick.

What makes this trade so intriguing is where it leaves Schaub, Vick, and Houston quarterback David Carr. This trade clearly demonstrates the Falcons' belief that Vick is their guy at quarterback. While in Houston, with the arrival of Schaub, it has become apparent that Carr is no longer the man. But can Schaub step in and turn around a struggling Houston franchise?
