The 2007 NFL schedule is out! And that means it's time to start overanalyzing each teams schedule and making predictions for '07, even before the NFL draft changes each team's makeup. But before we do that let's take a look at what SportsNation predicted for the Chicago Bears in 2006 and what their final record actually looked like.
2006 SportsNation Prediction: 13-3
2006 Chicago Bears record: 13-3
We could try and dilute your perfect prediction, SportsNation, by bringing up the fact that the Bears played in what was expected to be a very weak division, and had a pretty easy schedule, but when you nail a prediction, the way you did, it is very hard to be critical. Sure, you didn't get every individual pick right (expected loses to the Giants and Seahawks were actually much-welcomed wins), but no one is perfect. We commend you on your excellent overall body of work. But will BearNation be as confident with their '07 predictions with Rex Grossman still at the helm?
