The 2007 NFL schedule is out! And that means it's time to start overanalyzing each teams schedule and making predictions for '07, even before the NFL draft changes each team's makeup. But before we do that let's take a look at what SportsNation predicted for the Minnesota Vikings in 2006 and what their final record actually looked like.
2006 SportsNation Prediction: 12-4
2006 Minnesota Vikings record: 6-10
Not even close on this one Nation. It is hard to understand how you thought the Vikings could go 12-4 coming off such a turbulent 2005. This was a team in transition (with a new coach and an aging starting quarterback), but for some reason you thought they could beat Chicago and win at Green Bay. Sure the NFC North is not what it once was, but 5-1 in the black and blue division? Try 2-4. Let's hope you are a bit more cautious with your picks this season, considering there are even more questions at quarterback with this team at the moment.
