Vote: New York Giants in 2007

Giants

The 2007 NFL schedule is out! And that means it's time to start overanalyzing each teams schedule and making predictions for '07, even before the NFL draft changes each team's makeup. But before we do that let's take a look at what SportsNation predicted for the New York Giants in 2006 and what their final record actually looked like.

2006 SportsNation Prediction: 13-3
2006 New York Giants record: 8-8

Nation, your predictions for the Giants, through the first eight games, looked oh-so-promising, and then it all fell apart (much like the second half of the Giants' season). In the last eight games the only correct pick you made was a Week 17 win at Washington. But perhaps you should have seen this second half slump coming, considering the questions surrounding Eli Manning and his struggles late in the year the previous season. Moreover, an expected 6-0 record in a tough division is hard to justify.
