1) Who is the best No. 8 pick of all-time?

Ottis Anderson (1979)
A running back that had two NFL lives. The first was when he came in and dominated the league right from the start, rushing for a then NFL-rookie record 1,605 yards in 1979 and capturing NFL Offensive Rookie of The Year honors with the St. Louis Cardinals. After five 1,000-yard seasons with the Cardinals, Anderson was dealt to the Giants during the 1986 season, where he would win 2 Super Bowl titles, including the 1990 season, which saw him win Super Bowl XXV MVP honors, after rushing for 102 yards and a TD against the Bills.

Larry Csonka (1968)
In an 11-year NFL career that led to the Pro Football Hall of Fame, Larry Csonka was part of a Dolphins rushing attack that dominated the NFL in the early 70s, rushing for at least 1,000 yards in 1971, 1972 and 1973. Coincidentally, the Dolphins reached the Super Bowl in all 3 seasons, including the 1972 team that completed the only undefeated season in NFL history, led by Csonka's 112 yards in Super Bowl VII against the Redskins. Csonka would come back in Super Bowl VIII with 145 yards and 2 TD against the Vikings to win MVP honors and become the 1st player to rush for 100 yards in back-to-back Super Bowls.

Shane Conlan (1987)
A graduate of Linebacker U (Penn State), Shane Conlan went on to play 9 NFL seasons, starting 114 of his 120 career games for the Bills and Rams. Conlan was part of 3 of the Bills 4 Super Bowl teams in the 1990s (1990-92), while reaching 3 Pro Bowls, playing on a Buffalo defense that finished 4th in the NFL in total defense in 1988 and 8th in the league in 1990.

Joey Galloway (1995)
At 35 years old, Joey Galloway still possesses the same blazing speed that he had when he entered the NFL as a rookie in 1995. Thru 12 NFL seasons with the Seahawks, Cowboys and Buccaneers, Galloway has caught over 600 passes (612) and will most likely pass 10,000 career yards receiving during the 2007 season, needing just 442 yards to get to the mark. After having 6 straight seasons without 1,000 yards receiving, Galloway has had back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons in 2005 and 2006.

Ronnie Lott (1981)
Known as one of the great defensive players in NFL history, Ronnie Lott reached a total of 10 Pro Bowls at 3 different positions (CB, FS, SS). One of the NFL's hardest hitters, Lott would go on to record 63 career INTs during his Hall-of-Fame career, the 6th-most in NFL history. Lott would return 5 of those INTs for TDs, including 3 return TDs during his rookie season 1981, where the 49ers won the 1st of their 4 Super Bowl titles during the 1980s.

Mike Munchak(1982)
Playing in 159 career games with the Houston Oilers, Munchak was the mainstay of an offensive line that helped the Oilers finish in the top 5 in total offense every season from 1990-93, the last 4 seasons of his career. No coincidence, the 1st season without Munchak, the Oilers ranked 26th in offense and won just 2 games. A member of the Hall of Fame class of 2001, Munchak was named to 9 Pro Bowls.

Leslie O'Neal (1986)
One of the most-feared pass rushers of his era, Leslie O'Neal is a name that has almost gone quietly into the wind. In his rookie season of 1986, O'Neal put the league on notice with 12.5 sacks. After a devastating knee injury forced him to miss the entire 1987 season, O'Neal came back a continued to wreck havoc on opposing QB, finishing his NFL career with 132.5 sacks (tied for 7th-most in NFL history), recording at least 10 sacks in 8 of his 13 NFL seasons with the Chargers, Rams and Chiefs. O'Neal?s excellence led to 6 career Pro Bowl selections.

Willie Roaf (1993)
A 13-year NFL veteran who retired following the 2005 season, Willie Roaf was named to 11 Pro Bowls, making him one of only 3 Offensive Tackles to reach at least 10 Pro Bowls (Anthony Munoz, Jonathan Ogden). Roaf helped create holes for such successful RB as Ricky Williams, Priest Holmes and Larry Johnson during the course of his career. Roaf was an easy selection for the 1990s All-Decade Team.

Gene Washington (1967)
Well before his days as the NFL's Director of Football Operations, Gene Washington played in 10 NFL seasons, catching passes for 6,856 yards, with 60 TD catches. In just his 2nd NFL season, Washington led the NFL with 1,100 yards receiving on route to being selected to the Pro Bowl in each of his 1st 4 seasons. Washington ranks 4th in 49ers team history with 6,664 receiving yards.

Roy Williams (2002)
The Cowboys' safety has been known as one of the hardest hitters ever since coming into the league in 2002. Williams is a 4-time Pro Bowler, with 17 career INT. However, he might be remembered for being the player most responsible for having the NFL institute a rule against the horse-collar tackle, following Williams' takedown of then-Eagles WR Terrell Owens during the 2004 season, which resulted in a broken leg for Owens.
