Vote: Can cycling overcome doping?

Tour de France leader Michael Rasmussen was removed from the event on Wednesday.
Another Tour de France and another doping scandal involving cycling.

On the same day Italian rider Cristian Moreni failed a drug test and was detained by French police, Tour de France leader Michael Rasmussen was removed from the race by his team. Rabobank team spokesman Jacob Bergsma said Rasmussen violated teams rules and, thus, was sent home. While Rasmussen did not fail any drug tests, he did provide incorrect information about his whereabouts, leading him to miss two random drug tests.

As cycling tries to rid itself of doping, drug scandals continue to rock the sport. What do you think SportsNation? Are you shocked by Wednesday's news? Do you think doping is more prevalent in cycling than other major sports?

Cast your votes below and compare your opinion to that of SportsNation.
