Vote: Who won at the trade deadline?

Mark Teixeira may solidify the heart of the Braves' order.
The trading deadline has come and gone, with several teams choosing to either gear up for the postseason or plan for the future. Some trades may alter the future of a franchise, while others will have little effect, but it's clear that teams have a plan in mind going forward.

For the Braves and Red Sox, that plan seems to involve winning this year at all costs. Atlanta gave up promising hitter Jarrod Saltalamacchia and several prospects for the high-power impact bat of Mark Teixeira. Both the Braves and the Red Sox also acquire prominent bullpen arms--Octavio Dotel for Atlanta, and former Cy Young winner Eric Gagne for Boston.

For the most part, however, teams seemed to stand pat. The Phillies shored up their infield with a trade for Tadahito Iguchi and acquired veteran starter Kyle Lohse. The Yankees gave up Scott Proctor to the Dodgers in exchange for Wilson Betemit, possibly anticipating the promotion of stud pitching prospect Joba Chamberlain later this season. Most rumored trade chips, such as Jermaine Dye, Adam Dunn, and Chad Cordero, stayed put.
