Vote: What does the future hold for Bonds?

Despite the steroid accusations, Bonds leaves behind many happy memories in San Francisco.
Barry Bonds will be back in 2008 but it won't be in a San Francisco Giants jersey.

The team announced Friday they were cutting ties with the all-time home run leader in an effort to get younger and more athletic. They will attempt to use the considerable dollars freed up by Bonds' departure to sign players to that end. For Bonds, the future likely includes visits with multiple American League teams where he will hope to become a designated hitter doing what he does best which is drive balls out of the ballpark.

Did the Giants do the right thing? Would you want Bonds in your favorite team's lineup? Would you rather he just retire?
