The New York Yankees may have had an up and down season but it finished in familiar fashion with the pinstripes gearing up for their 13th straight postseason appearance. However, this year the Yankees will enter the playoffs as a wild card after the Red Sox ended their nine-year run atop the AL East standings.

Will being knocked from the top spot hurt the Yankees' psyche? Can they get past the Cleveland Indians to return to the ALCS?
