Could Les Miles and LSU play for another title after winning the SEC?
Should we have expected anything else to close out a regular season like this?
After all the upsets and all the uproar in college football this fall, all Missouri and West Virginia needed to do during the final weekend before bowl season was win.
It didn't happen.
Missouri lost to Oklahoma for the second time this season in the Big 12 title game and West Virginia, without starting quarterback Pat White for much of the night, lost a stunner at home to rival Pittsburgh.
So what happens now, SportsNation? Which two teams should play for the national championship? And is this season conclusive evidence that we need a playoff system or proof that college football knows how to stoke a debate better than any other sport?
