Vote: Would the Mets win with Johan Santana?

Would Johan Santana bring the Mets a championship?
Did the Mets just land the biggest catch of the offseason?

Reports have two-time Cy Young award winner Johan Santana heading to the Mets in exchange for speedy outfield prospect Carlos Gomez, minor league pitcher Philip Humber and two other minor leaguers. If confirmed, the deal will still be contingent on Santana passing a physical and agreeing to a contract extension with his new team.

The deal would seemingly radically alter the balance of power in the NL East, as the Mets had been headed to spring training with a potential rotation of Pedro Martinez, John Maine, Oliver Perez, Orlando Hernandez and Mike Pelfrey. But is it enough to vault them to a championship, and is it a good move for baseball?
