Vote: What do you think of the Mitchell report?



George Mitchell's investigation turned up some interesting names.
Former senator George Mitchell and his investigative committee have finally released the report that could have major implications for baseball.

The Mitchell report, an exhaustive investigation of the issue of steroids in baseball, was released on Major League Baseball's website Thursday afternoon. The report names a number of current and former Major League players, including former Cy Young winner Roger Clemens. Mitchell makes a number of recommendations to Major League Baseball, including establishing a Department of Investigations, cooperating more effectively with law enforcement, investigating violations, establishing clear rules on substance violations, and logging packages sent to players.

Regardless of how effective the Mitchell report is in addressing the problem of performance-enhancers in baseball, one thing is clear: people still have strong opinions about the subject.
