Indianapolis Motor Speedway provides a great backdrop for NASCAR's best.
The Indianapolis 500 is 87-years-old. The Brickyard 400 turns 10 this year. So does that make the Indy 500 an "oldie but goodie" or a "crusty old has-been"?

In August of 1994, eager race fans attended the inaugural Brickyard 400 which played out in front of a packed house and national television audience. It has become a race that separates superstars from contenders in Winston Cup racing.
