The perfect escape ruined a shot at perfection, but where did Super Bowl XLII rank, SportsNation?
The Patriots seemed headed to 19-0 after finally putting together enough offense to seize a 14-10 lead in the fourth quarter. But needing something close to a miracle, Eli Manning ducked out of a certain sack and kept the subsequent drive alive for the Giants. And when Manning found Plaxico Burress wide open in the end zone a few plays later, the Giants had a lead they wouldn't surrender.
So how about it, SportsNation? Was this the first of multiple titles for Eli? Will Brady and the Patriots be back? And who did you think deserved the MVP award that went to Manning?
