Vote: Will Bob Knight's legacy be positive or negative?

Knight departs with 902 wins.
It's no surprise that Bob Knight's career appears to have ended after a meeting in an athletic director's office, but it may surprise some that the combustible coach initiated the meeting.

According to a spokesman for Texas Tech AD Gerald Myers, Knight informed the school Monday that he wished to resign effective immediately. Pat Knight, his son, will take over a team that is 12-8 overall.

So if this is really it for Knight's career, what is your take on the enigmatic figure, SportsNation? Having already passed Dean Smith to become the all-time winningest coach in men's college basketball, Knight became the first men's coach to top 900 wins earlier this season. But do all those wins erase the memories of his countless confrontations?
