Vote: Houston Texans in 2008

Texans

The 2008 NFL schedule is out! And that means it's time to start overanalyzing each team's schedule and making predictions for 2008. Sure, the NFL draft may not have arrived yet and training camps are months away, but that's not going to stop SportsNation from getting its picks in, right? But before you get to prognosticating, let's take a look back and see how SportsNation has fared in its quest to predict the Texans' record in each of the past two years:

SportsNation Schedule Prediction History
2006
2007
SN Prediction:
6-10
16-0
Actual record:
6-10
8-8

Houston We Have A Problem
OK, so Saints and Seahawks fans also thought their teams would go 16-0 in 2007, but at least those teams had made the playoffs the previous season, unlike the Texans, who never have played a postseason game. Texans fans were certain their team would pull off wins in Jacksonville and San Diego, which was almost as laughable as picking their team to sweep the Colts. For your own sake, be more careful with your picks in 2008.
