Vote: New England Patriots in 2008

Patriots

The 2008 NFL schedule is out! And that means it's time to start overanalyzing each team's schedule and making predictions for 2008. Sure, the NFL draft may not have arrived yet and training camps are months away, but that's not going to stop SportsNation from getting its picks in, right? But before you get to prognosticating, let's take a look back and see how SportsNation has fared in its quest to predict the Patriots' record in each of the past two years:

SportsNation Schedule Prediction History
2006
2007
SN Prediction:
12-4
16-0
Actual record:
12-4
16-0

Perfection Predicted
Usually we would rip a fan base for such a bold prognostication, but the Patriots backed up their fans' faith in perfection by going 16-0 in the regular season in 2007. Even in the face of tough picks, like a November meeting with the Colts in Indianapolis, and late-season matchups against the Steelers and Giants, New England fans never wavered in confidence.
