Vote: New York Giants in 2008

Giants

The 2008 NFL schedule is out! And that means it's time to start overanalyzing each team's schedule and making predictions for 2008. Sure, the NFL draft may not have arrived yet and training camps are months away, but that's not going to stop SportsNation from getting its picks in, right? But before you get to prognosticating, let's take a look back and see how SportsNation has fared in its quest to predict the Giants' record in each of the past two years:

SportsNation Schedule Prediction History
2006
2007
SN Prediction:
13-3
12-4
Actual record:
8-8
10-6

A Worthy Effort
Giants fans put forth an admirable effort, expecting a 12-4 record, and receiving 10 wins and six losses in 2007. While fans of Big Blue correctly predicted a Week 17 loss to the Patriots, they probably never imagined that many NFL experts would point to that game as the catalyst that propelled the Giants to a Super Bowl title. And although New York fans might not have been perfect in making their regular-season picks, who needs perfection when you're the champs?
