Vote: Miami Dolphins in 2008

Dolphins

The 2008 NFL schedule is out! And that means it's time to start overanalyzing each team's schedule and making predictions for 2008. Sure, the NFL draft may not have arrived yet and training camps are months away, but that's not going to stop SportsNation from getting its picks in, right? But before you get to prognosticating, let's take a look back and see how SportsNation has fared in its quest to predict the Dolphins' record in each of the past two years:

SportsNation Schedule Prediction History
2006
2007
SN Prediction:
12-4
10-6
Actual record:
6-10
1-15

Know Your Limits
Apparently Dolphins fans expected to go 3-1 against the NFC East, arguably the best division in the NFL, in 2007. Miami went 0-4 in the East, and if not for a late-season overtime win against a crumbling Ravens team, the Fins would have gone 0-16 overall. We could rip Dolphins Nation more, but we feel going 1-15 was punishment enough.
