The pretenders have been culled from the herd, and it's time for the NBA's contenders to get down to business. As the weather warms outside, the temperature rises inside arenas across the country (and Canada!) with 16 teams chasing one trophy. So what's going to happen, SportsNation?

Will Tim Duncan's Spurs turn it on one more time and defend the title they won last season? Will whichever team emerges from the loaded Western Conference have anything left for the best of the East? What team might throw the bracket for a loop in the opening round?
