Are you a fan watching the NBA playoffs without a team to support? We at SportsNation recognize that this time of the year can be tough for fans of perennial conference bottom-feeders. As a result, we've decided to take a look ahead, three to five years, and try to figure out which struggling franchises have the brightest futures. So while most of the basketball world is focused on the present postseason events, this is your chance to look to the future, where hope springs eternal.

Below we've listed all the teams that missed the NBA playoffs and now it's up to you to determine which franchise is on the path to imminent success. We also want to know which young player is on the rise, and which veteran is closest to hanging up his high-tops.
