Vote: NBA Eastern Conference Predictions

With the Olympics over and the gold medal back in the United States, it's now time to get back into the swing of the NBA with offseason predictions.

From east to west coast, the summer has been filled with a world wind of trades and season altering injuries. The World Champion Boston Celtics enter training camp without forward James Posey but have replaced him by stocking their roster full of young talented draft picks. At the south end of I-95, the Miami Heat added the versatile No. 2 draft pick Michael Beasley to play along side Dwyane Wade and Shawn Marion in order to improve their production.

The Eastern Conference as a whole has made major moves in order to compete with the West, but was it enough? Will the new head man in New York, Mike D'Antoni lead the Knicks to more than a 29-win season? Is Jermaine O'Neal the missing piece for a 45-plus win season in Toronto? Will the addition of Elton Brand help the 76ers to a 50-win season?
