SportsNation isn't in danger of remedial work, but the opening weekend of the college football season suggested it's a little early to start talking about advanced placement prognostication.

Gridiron heavyweights and SportsNation voters all feasted on some cupcakes last week, but Clemson and Tennessee weren't the only ones to stumble on tougher fare. Only 42 percent of voters predicted Alabama would beat Clemson, still better than the 23 percent who picked UCLA over Tennessee. So what awaits in the season's second weekend, SportsNation?
