Fall is here, and that means it's time for 30 teams to resume pursuit of the Stanley Cup. The Detroit Red Wings have been able caretakers of the cherished chalice since capturing it last season, but when it comes to a commodity like championships, past success isn't necessarily an indicator of future success.
