Will the Red Wings lift the Cup again this season?
Even if a team avoids any overtimes and sweeps its way through the playoffs, it still takes a minimum of 294 periods of hockey to earn a dance with the Stanley Cup. In other words, it's a long season. But as we gear up for another marathon march across a frozen landscape, which teams do you think will be playing for the championship, SportsNation?

Showing you're among the sagest soothsayers in sports, SportsNation had the Red Wings and Penguins at the top of charts in last season's predictions. Of course, even if those two teams were No. 1 and No. 2, respectively, nearly 80 percent of voters picked another team to win it all.
