Vote: All-time Sox-Yankees lineup?

Thurman Munson and Carlton Fisk Would you rather have Thurman Munson or Carlton Fisk on your all-time Red Sox-Yankees team?

In what has become a yearly ritual that consumes the attention of sports fans (and certain sports media entities that shall remain nameless), the Red Sox and Yankees are once again battling it out for first place in the American League East. Both teams are typically at the top of the heap, evenly matched enough so that one or two wrong bounces can change the course of an entire season.

With all the talented players that have played on both sides of this rivalry, it's natural to wonder just what would happen if the teams did the unthinkable and combined forces. We've assembled a list of the greatest Red Sox and Yankee players in history, and we want you to choose the best possible team. Some of these greats have already been on both sides of the rivalry (Roger Clemens, Wade Boggs, a certain hefty former pitcher who had some power and a penchant for calling his shots), so this whole exercise isn't entirely unprecedented.

Who would make up your all-time Red Sox/Yankees team? Cast your vote now!
