Formula One makes its annual trek to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway this weekend for the United States Grand Prix. Sunday's race is key in the 2003 championship battle, but we can't help but wonder what it would take to compel American fans to take more of an interest in Formula One racing.

For a series which enjoys what many would describe as unrivaled popularity worldwide, F1 hasn't had much luck in the U.S. of A. Why not?
