Another year older -- and wiser?
This year's U.S. Open has several intriguing storylines:

  • the rise of the teenagers, led by Michelle Wie, who got a controversial special exemption;

  • the return of Wie's dad as her caddy;

  • Hilary Lunke's defense of her unlikely 2003 title;

  • and Annika Sorenstam's attempt to win her first Open in eight years.
