Barry Bonds In some respects, 700 is nothing more than a number. Hitting his 700th home run doesn't move Barry Bonds out of third place on the all-time list. But it's also so much more than a number. With the home run, Bonds makes at least a symbolic turn for home in his pursuit of Hank Aaron's record. What do all the homers mean?
