Jaguars go with Gabbert
Here's a secret about QB competitions: They rarely occur between two quarterbacks who don't possess significant flaws. Take the battle in Jacksonville, most recently won by Blaine Gabbert over Chad Henne. Neither quarterback had a completion percentage above 60 percent last season, their QBRs weren't stellar, and combined, they led the Jaguars to a record of 2-14. This year seems like Gabbert's last chance to stick as a starter -- in his two seasons with Jacksonville, he's compiled a mere 5-19 record.
