Derrick Rose has knee surgery
These are troubling times for Derrick Rose and the Chicago Bulls. The former MVP, who returned this year after sitting out a full season to recover from a torn left ACL, is out for the season after having surgery Monday to repair a medial meniscus tear in his right knee. Rose had two surgical options, so it appears doctors chose the one that will sideline Rose for four to six months over a minor procedure that might have had Rose back sooner, but potentially facing long-term complications.
