Will Melo's big night help the Knicks?

Carmelo Anthony couldn't miss Friday night -- even from halfcourt. In addition to surpassing Kevin Durant for the NBA's season high, Melo's 62 points set records for the Knicks franchise and the current Madison Square Garden -- and he could have scored more had he not come out with more than seven minutes remaining in New York's blowout win over the Bobcats. It's a bright spot for a Knicks team that has struggled much of the season -- but it doesn't erase questions about whether Melo will leave via free agency this summer.
