Add a 4-point line in NBA?

It's hardly imminent, but it's not impossible: a 4-point line could come to the NBA, according to president of basketball operations Rod Thorn and vice president Kiki Vandeweghe. Thorn, speaking to ESPN.com during the All-Star break, said the idea is "something that's come up," as has the expansion of the 94-by-50-foot court dimensions. And before you think the 4 is too crazy, remember: It's hasn't even been 35 years since the 3-pointer was adopted from the ABA.
