Remember in "The Lost World: Jurassic Park" when a T. rex ran amok in San Diego?
IT'S HAPPENING AGAIN.
Although this one, a baby T. rex that surfaced 17 years later at Wednesday's San Diego Padres-Kansas City Royals game, is decidedly more docile. It threw out the first pitch at Petco Park and did kinda OK. It did briefly go after The Swinging Friar, but the Padres' mascot didn't exactly have to hop on a Jeep to get out of there.
Turns out the dinosaur is named Baby T, part of the "Walking With Dinosaurs" arena show that is touring North America this summer and fall, so it's less terrifying than anything related to "Jurassic Park" we hope.
