Knicks hire Derek Fisher

Like their Brooklyn neighbors before them, the New York Knicks have turned to an active player -- or one who was active the previous season -- to become their new head coach. Yes, the Knicks reportedly have hired Derek Fisher to take over the spot vacated by Mike Woodson. This is the first big move made by new Knicks president Phil Jackson. Next up: convincing Carmelo Anthony to stay.
