Baseball in general and Howie Kendrick in particular learned a very valuable lesson Tuesday night: Don't run on Yoenis Cespedes:

Seriously, that throw is seismic. We can't even fault Kendrick for trying to go home on the play -- usually when an outfielder bobbles a ball like that, he doesn't follow it up by revealing that he's had his arm replaced by a rail gun. The A's celebrated with disbelief ...

... while the Angels (who had two of their players thrown out by Cespedes in the same inning on May 31) no doubt would prefer it if he'd just stop showing off:
