Sometimes we all need a little extra space to vent. ESPN profiles give fans space to post their own blog entries and go toe-to-toe with commenters.
- Fireballr7: Saying it's too early to praise or condemn MLB players for play thus far, this blogger proceeds to do the former for some early success stories.
- chargerdom21: In arguably the longest blog in SportsNation history, the case is laid out, in extended detail, for what to expect from Chris Johnson, Steve Slaton and Matt Forte in fantasy football this season.
- ghostcasino: Some saw Shaq's NBA Finals tweeting as sarcasm; this blogger think it an olive branch to pave the way for a Hollywood comeback.
- Dozaone00: Finally able to spend some quality work time blogging again (let freedom reign!), a Jets fan breaks down what may happen with Sanchez and without Favre.
- PADR321: And the honeymoon is over. Offering a Philadelphia perspective so perfect you have to wonder if it's satire, a Phillies fan says it's time to forget the World Series title and get back to booing the bums.
- 3-indagame: Even Ron Zook had a longer grace period than this. At least one Broncos fan is already calling for Josh McDaniels to be fired.
- Robert Flores: The SportsCenter anchor is officially on the soccer bandwagon, which is why he's calling US Soccer "doughy soft" after the debacle against Brazil.

CHAT IN PROGRESS
NHL with EJ Hradek
- EJ HradekThey're going to have some tough decisions. They have an abundance of really talented young guys. It looks like they have worked out deals with three of their better players in Towes, Kane and Keith. They have run into some problems in the CBA as far as the cap. But if we assume that those three guys will be back, it still creates some challenges. They'll have to make some decisions about some of the other guys and while it's nice to be in that situation, it still means you have to make some tough decisions.
- Christophe (Washington D.C.)If you were George McPhee and the Caps what would you do to remedy their deficiencies, read: defense, between now and the trade deadline for a better shot at the Cup.
- EJ HradekI think the Caps like their defense and some of their younger guys they have in their system going forward. The fans and those of us in the media look at it and say they need to add some help back there, but I don't know if they look at it that way. They need a veteran that's won before and has a little bit of a snarl to his game. They need that kind of player that would have a positive impact on their team going forward. They have a lot of young guys and they haven't won before. Someone like that who brings a little bit of an edge would be someone that would be helpful for them.
- Joe (NY)Do you think Team USA really has a shot to compete for a medal in Vancouver?
