Like banks, the postal service and the Detroit Lions, Wimbledon takes Sunday off (thank you, thank you; we've been here all week). The tournament's longstanding middle Sunday sojurn doesn't do much for the worn-out grass but it sets up nicely to start thinking about the sprint to the finish when the round of 16 gets under way.

Frankly, there hasn't been a ton of drama to date out of London. Sure, Maria Sharapova is out, as are a handful of other seeds in both the men's and women's draws, but Roger Federer, Andy Roddick, Andy Murray, Serena Williams, Venus Williams, Dinara Safina and Elena Dementieva haven't had many close scrapes.

Soderling helped Federer win the French. He might very well take away Winbledon from him. And I'm not yoking.

Besides the Williams sisters, what other American women tennis players are puttin it down?? Exactly!! Exactly why we see a lot of Venus & Serena.
