Putting the finishing touches on the lineup took Andy Roddick deep into the London evening, but the semifinals are set in both the men's and women's draws at Wimbledon, and Dickens would be proud of the kind of plots developing on the grass courts.

Roddick carries SportsNation's hopes and a shot at changing his legacy into his semifinal against Andy Murray, Great Britain's great hope. Meanwhile, Roger Federer looks to boost his claim as the world's greatest individual athlete against underdog Tommy Haas.

First things first, though, the women take the stage, with Serena and Venus Williams each one win from a Fourth of July clash. But Elena Dementieva and Dinara Safina are eager not to oblige.

Venus and Serena are playing too strong for either opponent to make a challenge. It'll be straight set victories for both. Hopefully, the Williams final will be a 3 set battle.

Finally Murray will get a test. Wawrinka technically was a test, but it shouldn't have been. Roddick should give Murray a run for his money, and I think that this could be the match of the tourney. It's too bad Hewitt's body was giving him trouble at the end there. It's just an amazing testament to how much a fighter he is that he was able to make it so close. With players like Nadal and Djokovic around, players like Hewitt and Haas are severely underrated.
