Denis Leary was all over ESPN Wednesday to promote his new movie (hear him on "Mike and Mike," left). You may have heard about it. It involves an icy landscape and animals hoping to win out against adversity. We assume it's an epic about the Lions winning a Super Bowl in the aftermath of Hell freezing over. We could be wrong.

Anyway, while Leary may never top the greatest booth visit in the history of televised sports, which came during a Red Sox game a few years back (YouTube it on the infinitesimal chance you haven't seen it), he had plenty of amusing bitterness to spread like rays of bitter sunshine over SportsNation in his chat.

Chris (Toronto)

Hey Dennis, Do you think the Sox should go after Halladay? I think we have a ton of prospects and should mortgage the farm for him. Halladay, Beckett and Lester? Good lord.

God, I've been talking about it all morning. Yeah. I would trade the town of Brookline, MA, which is highly valued real estate and the Back Bay and the Prudential Center for Halladay.

And one of my kidneys.

Sullivan (Clovis, NM)

As a diehard Yankees fan I love the rivalry with the Red Soxers. How do you think your pitching staff will hold up rest of this season, Leary?

Fine. I'm not worried about the pitching. That's the least of my worries. My question back to you is, in my long Irish life, I have never heard Sully and New Mexico mentioned in the same sentence. I'm very impressed. Where are you orginially from? Full transcript.
