The tracks of IRL and NASCAR Sprint Cup will be silent this weekend, free from the roar of engines and the heaves of race fans who imbibed just a little too much in the infield (we get that it takes some time for the IRL to get from Toronto to Edmonton, but what's the delay in getting Tony Stewart and the boys from Chicago to Indianapolis? We've driven I-65; unless you're a Dairy Queen aficionado, there's not that much to stop and see).

Anyway, with a break in the action, what better time is there to engage in a little argument based on debatable evidence and rampant self-interest? No, not the Jeremy Mayfield saga.

There's plenty of talk about Danica Patrick's possible future in a Sprint Cup ride, and Dale Earnhardt Jr. recently made headlines for an interest in the Indianapolis 500. But how do IRL and NASCAR's best talents stack up against each other? The money seems to be in stock cars, but SportsNation recently sided with IRL as the circuit that requires more skill.

And now a video on the food behind the scenes in NASCAR. Because we feel like it.
