While Michael Vick's federal dogfighting sentence may be coming to a close on Monday, the saga surrounding him is far from over. From state charges to his NFL eligibility, Vick has a rocky road still ahead.

But before the issues are resolved, what does SportsNation think will become of the former NFL star? Will he be given a second chance? Will any NFL teams be interested in taking on his heavy baggage? Read the featured comments and then join the conversation below.

The question is whether or not Vick has been "rehabilitated." In other words "will he ever fight dogs again?" If you honestly believe that he will never participate in dogfighting again then him serving time in prison has done its job. I personally think the guy has been punished enough. He went from celebrated sport star to bankrupt convicted felon. It's time to let him get his life back together as all felons are expected and encouraged to do.

I am curious what kind of sincere apology that some are asking for expect to see. In the wide spectrum of people in this world some are very sensitive to animals feelings while others view them as things. Obviously Vick does not feel his dogs' pain so what do you want him to HONESTLY say? "I'm sorry I got caught? I'm sorry my actions bothered you? 2 years in prison taught me to live gently and in harmony with everything around me, can I go play football now?"

I personally don't think he will start again in the NFL. Nobody will take a chance on him.

Any team that takes a chance is going to sign him for as little as they can and make him prove himself more than any player on the team. I don't think this guy's career is over. The commish holds all the cards. On that you can believe.
