Sometimes we all need a little extra space to vent. ESPN profiles give fans space to post their own blog entries and go toe-to-toe with commenters.

pacersfanatic33: A blogger calls the Chicago Cubs "MLB's Dallas Cowboys" for all the drama that comes with the franchise. We're not sure which group of fans should be more offended. Wait ... 1908. All right, we're sure.

thedudebabcock: It's not so much the losing during the season that bothers this Indians fan -- although that's not fun -- but the feeling that the team isn't even trying to fill holes like it did a decade ago.

frostburggal: An open letter to Tom Watson wonders why the sporting deities are depriving us of underdog winners and asks Watson to do it again next year for all those fans over 40.

allikskat: A Big East fan (from the Nutmeg State, no less) still can't get over how far DeJuan Blair fell in the NBA draft and suggests the rest of the league will suffer the consequences.

myleen_espn: An interesting take on one potential long-term implication of Watson losing. Had he won, Tiger Woods might have been motivated to break the record for oldest major champion in three decades.

Beano CookBefore the season I said Florida would beat Notre Dame. Now, I'm saying Florida beats Texas. But I don't change my prediction. If Alabama beats Florida, I don't know who I would choose Alabama or Texas.

Beano CookI think if Oregon wins, I think it's really a great Rose Bowl. The Big Ten is grateful that USC is not the opponent. But I think Oregon-Ohio State is really a good game. Two good QBs. Two good coaches. Ohio State has been there many times, Oregon hasn't. But you have to love Oregon. And you also have to love Oregon State. They're giving us a game, next Thursday on ESPN that was picked back sometime in the spring. So, kudos to somebody at ESPN who had the foresight to schedule this game. It's a bitter rivalry. The interstate rivalry are the bitter ones. Oregon-OSU, Auburn, Albama, Clemson-South Carolina. Those are much more bitter than OSU-Michigan, Texas-OU.
Lindsay (ID)Beano, What is the big deal with Charley Weiss. He gets 18 million and can retire. He gets rewarded for having 3 bad seasons. If I were the alumni I would be more disappointed in the person who signed him for 10 years then I would Charley. Your Thoughts?
