It's still not quite the rush-hour commute, but racing on road courses looks a little more like what most of us do every day, albeit about three times as fast. Tony Stewart won a record fifth time on the road course at Watkins Glen Monday, and that had some in SportsNation wondering about where this particular challenge fits in the NASCAR championship picture and in determining the full extent of a driver's legacy.

i can't remember if it was you or another columnist who keeps saying that there should be a road course in the chase, but after the glen yesterday, i totally agree. do you think they would ever put a race at virginia international?

Don't know about Virginia, but I would love to see a road course in the Chase. If you race road courses, one should be part of the Chase to crown the champ. I'd like to see Sonoma in the Chase.
