Have we reached a point in sports where the very sensation of enjoyment makes us suspicious? Even here in a nation that generally pays more attention to Field and Stream than track and field's non-Olympic moments, Usain Bolt's 9.58 in the 100-meter final at the world championships has people talking. And for Scoop Jackson, marveling also means talking about the specter of performance-enhancing drugs hanging over everything.

Much like Albert Pujols, Bolt has never been in the same zip code as allegations of wrongdoing (and like all the 100-meter finalists, passed a drug test in Berlin). But to many, he's a victim of the company he keeps at the highest levels of sports, where big names keep finding ways to disappoint those who thought they were above reproach.

So as Bolt tries to win the 200 meters, a race more than half of SportsNation professes to care about, are you able to completely enjoy the brilliance?

    MNF: Titans vs. Texans!
    • Aaron SchatzI don't think so. His overall numbers are still not outstanding. Besides, the real rookie of the year is playing in tonight's game: Houston linebacker Brian Cushing.
    • Dan (Las Vegas, Nevada)remember when VY got ROY. Remember?
    • Aaron SchatzYeah. That was AWESOME.
    • Aaron SchatzOK, I'm out of here. Everyone enjoy the game, and like I said: Brian Cushing, rookie of the year. Watch and enjoy, and wonder what the Texans would be like if they actually had other players to put next to Cushing, Ryans, and Mario Williams (and if Dunta Robinson was playing as well as he did pre-ACL injury).
