The NBA is still wedged solidly in its offseason, but unless you think Allen Iverson is the missing ingredient for some team's championship dreams, we have a pretty good handle on how teams are going to look when the upcoming season tips off in October.

In other words, the people who run Madison Square Garden should feel free to go ahead and book the WWE, Taylor Swift or pretty much anything else they want during May.

Before everyone gets completely immersed in the start of football season and the end of baseball season, ESPN.com's NBA experts have been breaking down how things look after a summer of change. Today's topic du jour is the MVP race, but there are a number of rankers you may want to catch up on before the weekend. Come on, it's Friday; you really have better things to do?

I can't help but laugh at everyone who is basing their criticism of Vince Carter on him being so injury prone. The same Vince Carter who has missed 11 games in the last 4 seasons. Looks like Cleveland is screwed what with Shaq missing 152 games in the same span. Seriously, I get that you don't like him for whatever reason, but try to base it on facts.

Vince is better than Hedo. I dont know why anyone who has followed Turk's career would ever say Hedu is better than vince, or even more valuable. Hedu cant play defense, shoots at a very average rate (below average actually), dominates the ball too much, and isnt very bright either. No way he is worth 50 mil. The Kings, Spurs, and Magic were all smart enough to know not to pay him anything more than replacement value. Vince > Hedu, and the magic are better off as a result of the change.

Johny Flynn WILL BE Rookie of the Year. The guy looked stellar in Las Vegas Summer League. He passes, shoots at good clip and wants to defend. The T-Wolves have a really good one here in Flynn.
