Blogging And Tackling: NFC

NFC East bias? Bloggers view the division as the toughest, giving three of the teams a shot at Super Bowl XLIV.

Unfortunately, it was good news-bad news for the Eagles, in fan previews on ESPN.com profiles. Philadelphia received the most predictions to go to the Super Bowl, but 60 percent of fan bloggers had the Eagles losing the Lombardi Trophy. The Giants were given a 2-1 chance of winning, while no blogger predicted a victory for the Cowboys. At least one fan thought the Packers, Vikings, Falcons, Saints and Panthers could still be playing in February.

Below are the average finishes for each division, with first-place votes in parenthesis.

Eagles NFC East: Eagles (16), Giants (10), Cowboys (3), Redskins
This team is stacked on the offensive end and the acquisition of Mike Vick will only make the team better -- manny24435

Vikings NFC North: Vikings (19), Packers (8), Bears (4), Lions
The Vikings will win the division because they have Adrian Peterson and have a good defense to back it up (although Brett Favre won't win too many games for them). -- NYandMU

Falcons NFC South: Falcons (11), Saints (8), Panthers (9), Buccaneers
The Falcons defense is just good enough to overtake and beat New Orleans in both head to head matchups, which is why I have them winning the division. New Orleans definitely has the offense, but I still think their D isn't ready. -- JoeRevs300

Cardinals NFC West: Cardinals (17), Seahawks (9), 49ers (1), Rams
The Cardinals came out of nowhere to win the NFC Championship and almost a Super Bowl. They win this division because it is the worst in football. -- armstead98_1998
