If you were going to pick a state crucial for launching both White House bids and NASCAR championship forays, New Hampshire wouldn't seem a likely candidate for the top of the list. Don't get us wrong; it would get on there ahead of, say, Wyoming, but the Granite State is not exactly overloaded with people with Southern accents -- or people in general.

But for all of that, here we are, ready for NASCAR's Chase to make its annual debut at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. ESPN.com writer Ed Hinton mapped out some potential storylines of note for the weeks ahead, but what plot would most capture your attention?

Jimmie Johnson winning four in a row would be a huge deal, but I don't necessarily think it would "rock the world." Mark Martin finally winning a championship would resonate throughout the NASCAR commounity and would be a major feel-good for older fans.

I fell terrible for Kyle Busch, I am sure millions of others also feel the pain and agony of a Kyle-less chase. Maybe they should park him for 10 races so he can't wreck any of the drivers who are actually in the chase.

    MNF: Titans vs. Texans!
    • Flash G (MA)Vince looks good! I think he has the physical talent. It seems like most of the issues with him are the mental aspect of the game. Clearly they had little faith in him as a leader if it took as long as it did for him to get in.
    • Brad (NY)Maybe CJ deserves the love? He's a beast, top 10 player in the NFL.
    • Braden (Huntsville, AL)Can we finally consider Chris Johnson a top 5 back in the NFL?
    • Texans (Houston)Braden: I think we can. AP is of course first. But yeah, I think there is definitly a spot there for CJ.
