SportsNation Guide: NFL Week 2

The big question looming out there as Week 2 of the NFL season arrives is whether or not one of the most beloved names in the game will be ready for duty Sunday. After pushing himself to the limits of human performance last week, and taking a physical pounding as a result, will he possibly be in top form? Or will his employer have to go to the bench?

Will six days prove to be enough time for Gus Johnson's larynx to recover from calling Brandon Stokley's miracle touchdown catch against the Bengals?

You thought we were talking about Donovan McNabb? Nah, we're sure Kevin Kolb or Jeff Garcia can do just fine in the impending 42-28 loss to the Saints.

    • Todd (Louisville)The Lions on turkey day is perfect. I can pretend to be interested if some random family member is getting on my nerves but can easily take a post-trytophane nap without worrying about missing anything important
    • BuzzmasterGood point.
