First it was Andre Johnson and Steve Slaton. Then came Tom Brady and Randy Moss. The Jets are getting rather good at making fantasy owners feel like Matt Millen when it comes to their top draft picks. But you stumble into work or school this morning, bleary-eyed after another weekend of football, we're already skipping right past Monday Night Football and the entirety of Week 3 to a showdown that awaits on the first Sunday in October.

Jets at New Saints. Immovable object meets irresistible force. Rex Ryan's mouth against Drew Brees' arm. Bagels and lox vs. jambalaya. You get the picture.

After two weeks, Brees has thrown nine touchdown passes. With the exception of pairing the Falcons and Ravens, that's more than any other two teams combined. But the Jets' defense has yet to allow a touchdown and are giving up just 4.8 yards per pass attempt.
